A poll shows that the American public is more and more frustrated by the tone of our politics. According to a July 2012 survey, 78 percent of Americans say they’re “frustrated” with our politics; 74 percent think that the tone of political campaigns has “gotten more negative” over past election cycles. They say that the American discourse is “mostly uncivil and disrespectful” by a 56 to 37 percent margin.
The problem with politics is most of it is filtered through the heavily biased and unfair media. If the news what strictly about what the candidates actually said or did, there might be more interest. People would have to pay attention and make up their own minds about the issues, instead of being fed constant leftist pablum.

I found your comment about arsenic poisoning just tonight. I also had arsenic posioning from the office I worked in for 12 years. It was in the attic where they treated the building for termites years ago. There was a roof leak they just couldn’t seem to fix and when it rained it came down the wall right beside of my desk and I didn’t know what it was. It took me 10 years to get the right doctor who did a heavy metal test. I went to military doctors for those 10 years, nine trips to Walter Reed the last year and a half I was there. Finally I went to a civilian doctor who found it the first time I saw him. When I went back to the military clinic and told the doctor there what they found, he told me to not come back. He said it was worker’s comp and they were not going to treat me. Of course there was no workers comp for an only employee. In the last two years I’ve had 4 foot surgeries because along with the neuropathy my bones and ligaments are falling apart and I had cadaver cartlidge in my nose a year ago to repair the huge holes it ate in my nose. I can’t find anyone else who had it like this. The neurologist I see says I am the only one still living he has treated. I just refused to die. Sometimes it would get so bad with the tachycardia at work I would lock my door and put my head on my desk for a few minutes but I would make myself get back to work. A town owned the building and I have not been able to get any attorney to take my case. The building was sold and I told the man who bought it what happened and he just said, “I hope you don’t tell anybody that because I want to rent it out”. Well, he did and now it is an apartment. I went to the door and told the person there and I don’t think she believed me. Since it’s a college town she probaly has moved, but my doctor says someone is going to die. I’ve never found an attorney who would take my case and I think the statute of limitations have run out. How are you doing now? I hope you caught it soon enough. I’ve not had any treatments. Just lots of pills and surgeries. This is not the retirement I was expecting!
