GMO foods are being restricted and banned all over the world. The FDA is full of ex Monsanto employees. The USA is being hoodwinked concerning the safety and productivity of GMO crops. You don’t have to be a scientist to read all the dangers of GMO crops. I do not pretend to know why Gates has such large holdings in Monsanto. Perhaps he, like you, haven’t been convinced of the dangers involved. You can do some simple searching to find convincing arguments about the dangers of GMO.

Monsanto owning a patent on the world’s food supply is scary enough.

I’m not a scientist, so I can’t make knowledgeable judgements about the value of GM foods. However, they have been judged safe by governments all over the world, and I doubt that Monsanto would purposely harm its customer in return for a short term profit. And I also don’t think Gates would invest in a company that did this.

Bill and Melinda Gates are shoving GMO foods down throats in Africa. Instead of helping the food supply, the opposite is happening. Round Up ready crops are insecticide resistant and instead of increasing yields, the harvests are smaller. The crops are laden with insecticides since they have been developed to survive poison. Bill Gates happens to own 1/2 million shares of Monsanto stock.
