Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab is the Nigerian man accused of trying to blow up a plane as it was landing in Detroit. Reading the story made me wonder what would cause a person to do such a thing.

The stories said he was linked to radical Muslin groups. So we must try to understand why he became radicalized. Was it because of U.S. actions in Afghanistan? If so, shouldn’t we withdraw our forces before other innocent Muslims become radicals?

Maybe Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was unhappy with the U.S. support of Israel. Perhaps we should stop backing Israel so the Arabs can turn it into another Gaza strip, replete with poverty, corruption, decay, and no rule of law.

Perhaps a Muslim-Christian summit can be hosted by President Obama at the White House. They can talk about their grievances over a few beers and maybe some barbecued pork chops. Obama could make an apology speech, and everything will end up fine.

Since Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab is from Nigeria, I assume he is black. Perhaps it was pervasive racism all over the world that led him to try to kill hundreds of innocent people. Again, an apology from the President would be in order.

I hope Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was not injured by the brave Dutchman who tackled him on the plane. If so, I’m sure CAIR, the ACLU, and an untold number of slimy lawyers will line up to take his case. Justice must be done. Remember the Navy SEALs.

I see a story where the father of Umar Farouk Abdulmutal reported his strange behavior to the U.S. Embassy. Fortunately the FBI did the correct thing and ignored this hearsay.

I also see  a report that Umar Farouk Abdulmutallablab  was on the “no fly” list, but was allowed to fly anyway. Thank you, FBI, for not profiling this man. That would have been insensitive at best, and possibly racist.

So please, before we rush to judgement, shouldn’t we rush to understanding? Can’t we all just get along?
