In case you are unfamiliar, the Darwin Award is given out each year to the person whose unintended self-inflicted demise has done most to improve the human gene pool.

There was a story in Wednesday’s Shenzhen Daily about a man in Taiwan, 38 year old Chen Sung-mou, who crawled into a freezer to escape the heat at the factory where he worked. Once inside, it appeared that hypothermia caused him to fall asleep, trapping him inside the room.  And even though the door was unlocked., he froze. He was pronounced dead at the local hospital.

Thank you for your contribution to humanity, Mr. Chen Sung-mou. I salute you!
